Sorry, Not Sorry

So I am totally revamping my blog. I have been dying for a change lately, and yesterday my friend Katie at school was working on her blog {like seriously making it from scratch} and it hit me! I think working on my blog will help me fulfill that hole in my heart! So I wanted to apologize {not really, who honestly cares} for all the changes my blog is undergoing.

Today is a Tuesday and it is BEAUTIFUL outside. Like sunny, warm, happy, spring-time bliss! But unfortunately there haven't been like any runs today at my work, therefore, Chels is stuck indoors. It's a curse really. Luckily this has given me time to make my blog look snazzy! 

Okay so lately have been having second thoughts about my decision to go into interior design. I know that i want to go into a more "artistic" field, I am just not sure if interior design is it. Last week in my art class {for pretty much beginners and below} we had to draw our "dream house." I was SO excited to do this project because it connected with ID & I usually love doing art projects & I just get so stoked for everything because i drink way too much Diet Coke. 

Well heck to the NO. 

Lets just say, my dream house turned out to me the total opposite. It was not a dream house, for anybody! Seriously, nobody deserved to live there. So it got me thinking. If i can't even draw a dream house that is thought up in my mind and that I sketch out on paper. How am i ever going to design things for clients & make them look stunning & use the space wisely & make everything match & la-de-da-de-da??

I'm not.

So now i'm scared to death & think i need to reconsider my choice.

Any ideas of what you think i would be good at? Seriously though. ANYTHING?

I need to stop second-guessing everything or I will be doomed to NEVER finish school.

My Husband...

My husband has told me over and OVER lately how sad he is that I don't blog anymore.

{Well, maybe not in those exact words..}

But I promised him that I would fill the little blog hole in his heart and post something today.

I am really just waiting to blog about my wedding. I'm so freaking excited, I just want some pictures to go along with it.

{Which should be this week or next!}

BUT in the wedding blog post's spot I will post a story about the worlds thinnest house.

Crazy huh! I would get SO claustrophobic being in that thing for even a minute. Plus, how would you have company or cook a gourmet meal? Yeah, you wouldn't!

What's Up?

I've been so bad at updating my blog. 

I tried the 30 day challenge, but that failed miserably...

And I tried just writing a little bit about nothing everyday, but that also failed.

So now I'm back to never blogging.

BUT in my defense, I am getting ready to start a new chapter in my life. And I am SO excited. In 10 days I will be marrying my very best friend. I know lots of people say that, but I seriously am honored to get to sealed to the most incredible person on earth.

It makes me nervous, but last night I realized that it's not a "bad" nervous. I was just getting butterflies was all.

I couldn't possibly dream of having a better life right now.

And for all the people "helping" me plan the wedding-they are AH-MAZING! {I say "helping" because they are pretty much doing it all on their own, I'm not picky!}

But really, I've watched my mother sacrifice her days and evenings for the past month to get things together and make everything perfect. I am so blessed.

I know that I never update this blog like, well, ever. But I am still alive, and would love to write a blog for all you fine folks who read this. {Hi Mom!}

Working at the dry cleaners is awesome, as always. Today was super slow and I just sat back slurping a keva until my brains froze, and then I got up and walked around a bit, only to sit back down. 

And then I went to Target to do some returns.

Yesterday I bought a whole {crapload} bunch of fun stuff to take pictures with. Including rain boots, umbrella's, headbands, and clothes; but to my dismay the rain stopped and Erron & I were left to take our engagement pictures {by Hailee Henson} in the sunshine. Boooooooo.

Just kidding, that's probably the first time that has ever been said. EVER.

It was quite a grand time.

Hai-Hai knows lots of good looking places to make our hair look done, our teeth look white, and our eyeballs look bright. Seriously, such a fun time!

Hailee took us to this abandoned house on Redwood Road that I pretty much fell in love with. I don't know what it was about the place that was amazing....I mean the wall paper was falling off the walls, some {stupid} girl had graffitied (sp?) her name all over the place. But the mysteriousness {it's a word!} and the beauty of the house was just so overwhelming!

Long story short, I am here now, typing this up/making wedding plans. 

It's more than I thought it would be-but definitely not hard, and definitely fun fun fun!
