The Phone Call

Is it just me or do you remember this from seminary too?
Yeah. AWKWARD TO THE MAX.
This movie quite actually makes me ill.
{Or maybe that's just because I didn't eat lunch...}
No real reason for sharing this adorable little clip besides the fact that I can.

So T-minus 2 days until I get my wisdom teeth out...
I think I might cry.
Those teeth have been with me all these years and now it is time to say "buh-bye." I don't know if I am strong enough.
If you have tips-- Please contact me ASAP!

And last but not least,
I am looking for a part-time bed-maker.
You will be on contract {no quitting here} and must be willing to work for free. {College doesn't pay for itself!}
The hours are: whenever my bed isn't made.
Benefits include: being graced by my presence more than you could think imaginable, receiving free junk that I'm trying to get rid of, and having a skill that will bring your resume from mediocre to sterling!
Interested?
Just let me know.
OR you can just show up starting tomorrow morning and surprise me! Brownie points!!!

I believe in...

This comes from Megan's blog.
And yes, I just couldn't resist!
Soooooooo
I believe in myself. I am pretty freaking amazing. I mean how many people do you know that can bargain shop like a pro, bake like a queen {even though queen's don't bake...}, look like a goddess, lip-sync like a pop-star, and sleep-eat like it's nobody's business? All that and STILL be smart in school, healthy as I'll get out, and funny as can be.
I believe in prayer. Even if I wasn't religious I'd probably still believe in this one. Prayer keeps our relationship with Heavenly Father strong, and helps us navigate through this life.
I believe in SMOOTHIES. They will always be delicious. {Maybe I'm just thirsty right now...}
I believe in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. And in cahoots, I believe that Jesus Christ gave himself that we may all be saved using the power of repentance. And I believe that we do have the power of the priesthood on this Earth today and through that and the powers of latter-day revelation, we are guided through life with Heavenly Father by our side.
I believe in eating when I'm hungry. Why else would my stomach be growling?
I believe in love. True love. I know that if not abused, the powers of true love can conquer anything.
I believe in medicine. I have faith in today's scientific advances in medicine. They are here to help us be healthy and strong and we should embrace them.
I believe families. Just like true love, when used properly, families can do ANYTHING together.
I believe in miracles. Big and small. And I believe that they happen everyday, we just don't always see them.
I believe in Santa Claus. And the spirit of Christmas.
I believe in music. No matter who you are or what you are doing, a positive song can ALWAYS lift your spirit.
I believe in sleeping-in every once in awhile. It's good to kick back and be lazy sometimes.
I believe in happiness. We are on earth to do good and enjoy bliss. And EVERYONE has the opportunity to be happy. Even in rotten situations, you can ALWAYS find the bright side.

That isn't all, but lets be honest, you probably didn't read it all anyway.

weekend update

Yo yo yo! I never ever ever ever seem to blog anymore!
I guess I really am {not} busy...
But here's the random pictures of my life from the past week!
I voted in the Utah Primary!

Cherry Hill with the fathers side!
Amazon sent me a new kindle comlimentary, even though I was the reason my last one probably broke {or so they say...}
Dyed my hair! Not very different, but I love it!
Had my "lip fortune" told at the Farmers Market in Bountiful. Erron even did it too!

And an amazing trip to Manti with my YSA ward!
WOOT WOOT! HAPPY JULY!

CLT night out

You know when you just need those nights to yourself?
I just had one of those.
It was INCREDIBLE!
So I was planning on hanging out with my old friend Riley who just returned from a mission, but after thinking long and hard about it I realized that I needed to take the time to just have fun with ME!
To treat myself to a stress-free adventurous evening.
I planned on going running on some hiking trails in SLC, but then decided to just tour the city.
I found this fantastic place that sells everything British.
And I helped a hobo with directions.
I'm so happy that I took this night to rediscover myself.
Highlights included:
Cathedral of the Madeline. Love this place!

Visitors center at Temple Square
Walking around Temple Square. That place is SO pretty!
Sites all over the city. SLC is BEAUTIFUL!
